Cora hypermarket chain, held by Franco-Belgian group Louis Delhaize, has signed a lease contract for approx. 8,000 sq m area in Gold Plaza Shopping Center in Baia Mare, at a time when developers have a hard time finding tenants for shopping centers.
"We signed the contract with Cora for 10 years a week ago with the option to extend it up to 30 years. Cora will take up about 8,000 sq m on the ground floor of the mall, where there will be other stores, too," Eran Socher, managing director of Futureal, developer of Gold Plaza, whose opening is set for the Autumn of next year, told ZF.
